Work Location: HCL CAMPUS, Chennai
Experience: 1-5 years of Technical Writing experience with extensive Robo Help work experience
Qualification: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or Physics
Roles and Responsibilities
Work with Technical Publications Manager to determine scope, deliverables, and schedule for documentation projects.
Create a documentation plan, if necessary, for the project.
Comply with all project deliverables.
Gather all relevant information from appropriate sources (database, pre-existing documents, and relevant SMEs) to create, develop or update documents.
Develop and author content adhering to the processes and style guide.
Attend relevant PLC meetings to provide status and communicate changes as required.
Track and report status, including roadblocks to meeting deliverables and potential resolution of those roadblocks.
Creating User Guides, Installation Guides and Release Notes
Required Skills
Excellent English language communication and written skills.
Proficient in Robo Help and Context Sensitive Help authoring.
Proficient in Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Acrobat Professional, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge of graphic tools, such as SnagIT & Photoshop.
Experience with Content Management Systems such as Documentum/Webtop.
Must have experience working in a multi-national company, having interactions with onsite stakeholders.
